Meet Your Teacher

Music has been a joyful part of my life since I began taking piano lessons at the age of eight. I still remember looking forward to practicing each day, and it is my greatest hope to inspire that same excitement and love of music in every student I teach.For nearly 10 years, I had the privilege of serving as the lead pianist for my church's worship ministry, an experience that strengthened both my musicianship and my passion for sharing music with others.I have had the privilege of studying directly under the renowned piano pedagogue Irina Gorin and completed the highest level of pedagogy training offered through the Gorin Institute. I am proud to be the only registered Tales of a Musical Journey teacher in the Uintah Basin, bringing this internationally respected approach to piano students in our community.As a UMTC Elite Educator, I believe that an exceptional music education is about so much more than learning notes and rhythms. It builds confidence, creativity, discipline, and problem-solving skills that benefit students both in music and in everyday life. Whether your child is just beginning their musical journey or is ready to advance their skills, my goal is to combine strong fundamentals with engaging, supporitve instruction to help students grow into capable, confident musicians while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
